Idollist — Idol Advertising & Promotion Policy Last updated: 31 May 2026 This Policy sets out the rules that govern how Idols may promote their Idollist profiles and engage in third-party advertising or sponsored content. It applies both to content published on the Platform and to promotional activity carried out on external channels. This Policy supplements the General Terms & Conditions, the Idol Terms & Conditions, and all other applicable Idollist policies. Where a conflict arises between this Policy and the General Terms on a matter this Policy specifically addresses, this Policy takes precedence. DEFINITIONS
“Third-Party Promotion” means any endorsement, sponsorship, or advertisement of a product, service, or brand that is not owned by the Idol or by Idollist. “External Promotion” means any content, post, or media published outside the Idollist Platform that links to or promotes an Idol’s Idollist profile. “Sponsored Content” means any content published on Idollist for which the Idol receives compensation or other value from a third party in exchange for promotion.POLICY
1. PROMOTING YOUR IDOLLIST PROFILE
1.1 Permitted Promotion Channels
Idols may promote their Idollist profile through: Social media platforms; Personal websites and blogs; Email newsletters; and Search engines and paid traffic platforms, subject to the terms of those platforms.1.2 Requirements for External Promotion
All External Promotion must: Represent Idollist and your content truthfully and accurately; Comply with the rules and policies of the external platform or channel being used; and Not impersonate Idollist, other Idols, or any third party. Idols must not: Engage in spam, deceptive traffic generation, or misleading promotional practices; or Mislead fans or potential subscribers about the nature, quality, or availability of content on the Platform.2. THIRD-PARTY PROMOTIONS ON THE PLATFORM
2.1 Sponsored and Affiliate Content
Idols may publish Third-Party Promotional content on Idollist, provided that: The product or service being promoted is legal and not prohibited under any Idollist policy; Any paid or sponsored relationship is clearly and prominently disclosed to your audience — for example, using labels such as #ad, Sponsored, or Partnership; and The promotion does not involve or encourage any behaviour prohibited under the Acceptable Use Policy. Idols may not use the Platform to promote: Gambling services or products; Prescription or controlled drugs; Tobacco or nicotine products; Unregulated financial services or investment schemes; or Any illegal product, service, or activity. Idols must not use the Platform to conduct commercial activity on behalf of third-party advertisers, or to host giveaways or competitions on behalf of third parties, without prior written approval from Idollist.3. COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY RESTRICTIONS
The following activities are prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing by Idollist: Paid contests, prize draws, giveaways, or sweepstakes conducted through the Platform; Product placements or third-party endorsements that are not clearly disclosed; and Recruitment advertisements, job listings, or business-for-hire content. These restrictions exist to: Protect Users from misleading or undisclosed commercial practices; and Maintain Platform integrity and prevent Idollist from being used as a vehicle for unauthorised advertising activity.4. ENFORCEMENT
Idollist may take enforcement action where an Idol breaches this Policy. Enforcement measures may include: Removal of the relevant content from the Platform; Temporary or permanent suspension of the Idol’s account; and Deductions from the Idol Balance where appropriate, in accordance with the Content Moderation & Protection Policy. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions.5. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
Users who become aware of suspected advertising violations or inappropriate third-party promotions on the Platform are encouraged to report them by: Emailing support@idollist.com; or Using the in-platform report function on the relevant content or account.CONTACT & SUPPORT
