Idollist — Complaints Policy Last updated: 30 May 2026 Idollist is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and transparent environment for all Users. This Complaints Policy explains how we handle reports relating to User conduct, content published on the Platform, and outcomes of moderation decisions. This Policy operates alongside the General Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Idollist policies. Where a conflict arises between this Policy and the General Terms on a matter this Policy specifically addresses, this Policy takes precedence. DEFINITIONS
“Complaint” means a formal report submitted to Idollist concerning User conduct, content, or Platform operations alleged to be in breach of Idollist’s policies. “Appeal” means a request submitted by a User asking Idollist to reconsider an enforcement decision or complaint outcome.POLICY
1. WHO MAY SUBMIT A COMPLAINT
Anyone — whether a registered User or a non-User — may submit a Complaint about activity on the Idollist Platform. By using the Platform, Users agree not to misuse the complaints process and to submit reports only in good faith.2. HOW TO SUBMIT A COMPLAINT
Complaints may be submitted by: Emailing support@idollist.com; or Using the in-platform “Report” feature available on accounts, content, messages, or profile media. To help us process your Complaint efficiently, please include: Your full name and contact email address; Your Idollist username or handle, if applicable; The username, content, or account your Complaint relates to; A clear description of the issue; and Any supporting evidence, such as screenshots, URLs, screen recordings, or message transcripts.3. HOW WE INVESTIGATE COMPLAINTS
Every Complaint is assessed individually and logged within Idollist’s moderation system. We aim to review all Complaints within 5 calendar days of receipt. During the course of an investigation, Idollist may: Contact you for additional information or evidence; Contact the User or account the Complaint relates to for clarification; and Escalate the matter internally where it involves complex, legal, or potentially criminal issues. Idollist will approach all Complaints in good faith, treating all parties fairly and aiming to reach a resolution as efficiently as the circumstances allow.4. OUTCOMES
Where a Complaint is upheld, Idollist may take any action it considers appropriate in the circumstances. This may include issuing a warning, removing content, imposing a temporary suspension, or permanently terminating the relevant account, in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions. Where a Complaint is not upheld, a record of the outcome will nonetheless be retained. Records relating to resolved Complaints are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Idollist is not obliged to share detailed findings or the specifics of any enforcement decision with the person who submitted the Complaint, unless required to do so by law.5. APPEALS
If your account is subject to an enforcement action arising from a Complaint, you may submit an Appeal by emailing support@idollist.com within 14 days of receiving notice of the enforcement decision. Your Appeal should include: A clear description of the enforcement decision you are challenging; Any new evidence or context that was not available or included at the time of the original Complaint; and An explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. Idollist will review all Appeals in good faith. Appeals submitted after the 14-day window may still be considered at our discretion, but we cannot guarantee a response.6. SPECIAL CASES
Where a Complaint involves criminal conduct, harassment, abuse, or credible threats of harm, we strongly encourage the reporting party to contact the relevant law enforcement authorities in addition to submitting a Complaint to Idollist. If your Complaint relates to copyright infringement or the unauthorised use of your intellectual property, please refer to the DMCA Policy for the applicable procedures. If your Complaint concerns the publication of non-consensual intimate imagery, please refer to the NCII Takedown Policy, which sets out a dedicated and expedited process for such reports.7. MISUSE OF THE COMPLAINTS PROCESS
Submitting Complaints that are knowingly false, misleading, or made in bad faith is a breach of this Policy and of the Acceptable Use Policy. Users who misuse the complaints process may be subject to warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. Non-Users who repeatedly abuse this process may be restricted from contacting Idollist or accessing Platform services in the future.CONTACT & SUPPORT
