Idollist — Non-Consensual Intimate Image Takedown Policy Last updated: 30 May 2026 Idollist is committed to the safety, dignity, and privacy of every individual. This Policy sets out the procedures for submitting and responding to requests for the removal of non-consensual intimate visual content, in accordance with the TAKE IT DOWN Act (United States) and the Crime and Policing Act 2026 as it amends the Online Safety Act 2023 (United Kingdom). It applies exclusively to content published on idollist.co. This Policy operates alongside the General Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Idollist policies. Where a conflict arises between this Policy and the General Terms on a matter this Policy specifically addresses, this Policy takes precedence. All defined terms carry the meanings given to them in the General Terms & Conditions, unless stated otherwise here.

DEFINITIONS

“TAKE IT DOWN Act” means the Tools to Address Known Exploitation by Immobilizing Technological Deepfakes on Websites and Networks Act, signed into law in the United States on 19th May 2025. “Crime and Policing Act 2026” means the Crime and Policing Act 2026 (UK), which received Royal Assent on 29th April 2026 and which amends the Online Safety Act 2023 to require user-to-user services to remove NCII within 48 hours of a valid report. “NCII” means non-consensual intimate visual depiction: any photograph, video, or other visual content depicting an identifiable individual in a sexually explicit manner that was published without that individual’s consent. This includes content falling within the meaning of section 66B of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for the purposes of UK law. “Digital Forgery” means any intimate visual depiction of an identifiable individual that has been created or altered using software, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or any other technological means, and that a reasonable person would find difficult or impossible to distinguish from an authentic depiction. “Removal Request” means a formal notification submitted by or on behalf of a depicted individual requesting the removal of NCII or a Digital Forgery under this Policy. “Authorised Representative” means a parent, legal guardian, solicitor, or other person expressly authorised to act on behalf of a depicted individual in connection with a Removal Request.

POLICY

1. SUBMITTING A REMOVAL REQUEST

Idollist complies with the notice-and-takedown obligations set out in the TAKE IT DOWN Act (US) and the Crime and Policing Act 2026 as it amends the Online Safety Act 2023 (UK). Any individual who believes that intimate visual content depicting them has been published on the Platform without their consent — whether an authentic image or a Digital Forgery — may submit a Removal Request to have that content taken down. Removal Requests may be submitted by the depicted individual directly, or by an Authorised Representative acting on their behalf. All Removal Requests must be sent by email to support@idollist.com and must include each of the following: A physical or electronic signature of the depicted individual or their Authorised Representative; Identification of the specific content subject to the request, including sufficient information to enable Idollist to locate it on the Platform — for example, a URL or a description of where the content appears; A clear statement confirming that the content was published without the consent of the depicted individual; The full name and email address of the depicted individual, or — where the request is submitted by an Authorised Representative — of that representative and a description of their relationship to the depicted individual; and Where the request is submitted on behalf of a minor, confirmation of the representative’s authority to act on the minor’s behalf. Idollist may remove or disable access to content that is the subject of a valid Removal Request pending review. Where the circumstances clearly indicate that content was published without consent, Idollist may act immediately and without waiting for the review to be completed. Accounts found to have published NCII or Digital Forgeries may be permanently terminated without prior notice.

2. HOW IDOLLIST RESPONDS TO A VALID REMOVAL REQUEST

On receipt of a valid Removal Request, Idollist will, as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 48 hours: Remove or disable access to the identified content; Take reasonable steps to identify and remove or disable access to any copies of that content on the Platform, including content that is the same as or substantially similar to the reported content; and Take reasonable steps to prevent the same content from being re-uploaded to the Platform. Idollist will notify the User responsible for the content that it has been removed. The identity and contact details of the person who submitted the Removal Request will not be disclosed to that User under any circumstances. Idollist reserves the right to remove content at its sole discretion, without prior notice and without liability to the User, in any case where the non-consensual nature of the publication is apparent. Users whose content is removed under this Policy may be subject to permanent suspension from the Platform in accordance with the General Terms & Conditions.

3. MISUSE AND PENALTIES

The Removal Request process must not be used in bad faith. Submitting a false or fraudulent Removal Request — including making deliberately inaccurate statements — may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law in both the US and the UK, and will result in enforcement action under Idollist’s Acceptable Use Policy, up to and including permanent removal from the Platform. Idollist will investigate any suspected misuse of this process and will take appropriate action where abuse is confirmed, including referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.
