Idollist — Content Moderation & Protection Policy Last updated: 30 May 2026 This Content Moderation & Protection Policy describes the procedures Idollist uses to moderate user-generated content, verify creator identity, and protect content published on the Platform. Its purpose is to maintain a safe, lawful, and secure environment for all Users. This Policy operates alongside the General Terms & Conditions and all other applicable Idollist policies. Where a conflict arises between this Policy and the General Terms on a matter this Policy specifically addresses, this Policy takes precedence. All defined terms carry the meanings given to them in the General Terms & Conditions, unless stated otherwise here.

DEFINITIONS

“Idollist Idol” or “Idol” means a verified creator who has been approved to upload and monetise content on the Platform. “KYC” (Know Your Customer) means the identity and age verification process conducted through Sumsub, our approved third-party verification provider.

POLICY

1. USER SAFETY AND CONTENT SCREENING

All Users must confirm that they are 18 or older before accessing the Platform. Users who indicate they are under 18 are immediately denied access and redirected. If Idollist discovers that a User has misrepresented their age and is in fact under 18, their Account will be closed immediately and their email address will be permanently blocked from the Platform. Idollist uses automated scanning tools to analyse all uploaded User Content — both before and after publication — for nudity, explicit material, and other content that may not comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. This includes profile pictures, banners, and other public-facing media. Content flagged by automated tools is blurred pending review and requires explicit User confirmation before it can be viewed. Any User may report content they believe violates the Acceptable Use Policy or any other Idollist policy. All reports are reviewed by Idollist’s moderation team under the procedures set out in the Complaints Policy. Public profile content — including profile pictures, banners, and bio text — is subject to stricter safe-for-work (SFW) standards, as set out in the Acceptable Use Policy. Non-compliant public content may be removed from discovery or public view without prior notice.

2. KYC AND IDOL IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Any User wishing to become an Idol must complete a full KYC verification through Sumsub, Idollist’s approved identity verification provider. The KYC process includes: Submission of valid government-issued identity documents; A real-time liveness check via photo or video capture; and Confirmation that the applicant is at least 18 years of age. Idols must truthfully declare at the time of onboarding whether they intend to upload explicit content. This declaration is permanent and cannot be changed once submitted. Idollist conducts manual identity reviews in the following circumstances: For all new Idols prior to their first payout; For any Idol generating more than USD 100 in earnings within a 24-hour period; and Where suspicious activity patterns are detected by platform tools or flagged through community reports. Identity documentation is retained securely via Sumsub and linked to Idollist’s internal compliance systems for ongoing verification purposes. If evidence emerges that an Idol is impersonating another individual, or does not hold the rights to content they have uploaded, Idollist may immediately disable or remove the relevant content or Account. Impersonation-related takedowns are also addressed in the DMCA Policy. For requirements relating to face visibility in content, see the Acceptable Use Policy, Section 2.8 (Identity Verification and Face Visibility).

3. CONTENT MODERATION PROCESS

All uploaded content is automatically analysed by [CONTENT MODERATION TOOL], an AI-powered content moderation system, which screens for: Nudity and sexually explicit material; Weapons, controlled substances, and illegal activity; Violence, abuse, or harmful behaviour; Indicators of age — including facial and physical features — to identify potential underage content; and Other signals including text, hand signs, and the number of individuals present in a frame. Content flagged by the automated system is placed in a moderation queue for human review. Moderators may: Remove the content from the Platform; Escalate the case for further investigation; or Contact the relevant Idol to request clarification or supporting documentation. Moderation activity is further supported by: Random spot checks to ensure consistency and impartiality; and Targeted checks triggered by behavioural patterns or risk thresholds defined by Idollist’s internal compliance systems. All moderation staff receive regular training in legal compliance, platform safety standards, and Idollist policies. Their decisions are subject to periodic audit and internal performance review. Where content is found to be in breach of this Policy, Idollist may apply a proportional deduction to the relevant Idol’s balance, in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy.

4. APPEALS AND ACCOUNT REVIEW

Users whose content or Accounts have been restricted, suspended, or removed as a result of moderation action may submit a formal appeal. Appeals must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the enforcement action, by emailing support@idollist.com. Idollist will consider all available evidence when reviewing an appeal, including any new context or clarification provided by the User. Most appeal decisions are issued within 7 days of receipt. Cases involving greater complexity may require additional time. This appeal process operates alongside, and does not replace, your rights under the Complaints Policy. Moderation response times: Idollist aims to review all content reports and moderation flags within 48 hours of submission. Reports are prioritised based on severity and potential risk to User safety. In urgent cases — including suspected CSAM, active impersonation, or serious legal risk — moderation may be initiated within hours of a report being received.

5. CONTENT PROTECTION MEASURES

Idollist has implemented a range of technical measures to detect and deter the unauthorised access, reproduction, or scraping of Idol content. These include: Visible and invisible watermarking of content; Right-click and download prevention; Screenshot detection on supported devices; and Session analytics and automated account locking where suspicious access behaviour is detected. Any attempt to access, copy, scrape, or download content in a manner that violates the Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate investigation and may lead to account termination under the General Terms & Conditions.

6. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS

Idollist works with content protection and anti-piracy partners to monitor the internet for unauthorised distribution of Idol content. Idollist cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies across all relevant jurisdictions in response to reports involving: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM); Human trafficking or exploitation; Non-consensual intimate imagery; and Any other criminal conduct involving content uploaded to or communications made through the Platform. Idollist may disclose User information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or where we determine it is necessary to prevent serious harm, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Idollist is committed to combating modern slavery and human trafficking. Platform-specific controls and risk mitigation procedures in this area are set out in our Anti-Slavery & Anti-Trafficking Statement.
